The Gimli Glider, Air Canada 149. One of the most famous aviation non-disasters. Here it is reviewed by an anonymous, oblivious and totally not fake passenger. I hear the captain was really proud to read it.

(At the risk of ruining the joke, perhaps I should explain it in case you haven't heard of the incident. The engines were indeed awfully quiet towards the end of the flight, as they ran out of fuel due to a miscalculation. The expert pilots managed to save everybody by gliding the crippled plane to a disused military base, with zero thrust, limited hydraulics and almost no instruments.)
